I was delighted when Ines Zimmermann contacted me during the coronavirus pandemic about writing a new work for her Amsterdam based trio of two flutes and violin. (She had come across my work through my piece Mirrored Lines for solo recorder). Amsterdam 21 reflects on the isolation felt during lockdowns whilst musicians neither could rehearse nor perform in front of an audience, but also captures the joy of the reunion.
 
This is the arrangement by the composer for clarinet trio (three Bb clarinets). Includes score and parts.
