Soar (2016)

Soar is a fun and challenging work for alto saxophone and piano suitable for players of approximately Grade 8 standard.  It begins with a reflective opening before entering the main body of the piece, in which flowing rhythmic patterns mimic a bird soaring through the sky.
 
Soar was highly commended in the Clarinet and Saxophone Society of Great Britian Composition Competition 2016
